We want all our patients to feel safe and relaxed as much as possible. Please let us know if you have any particular needs or requests and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Bathampton surgery has wheelchair access and facilities. When you arrange your first appointment please tell us if you have any special requirements.
Some people suffer from deep seated anxieties about dentistry; we understand and strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Children are always welcome, however young. If you have neurodiversity (eg Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc) please let us know if there are things that would be helpful for you or you would like to know more about aspects of the practice. If things that may occur in the dental surgery that you would particularly prefer we try and avoid if possible like bright lights, certain noises let us know and we will do our best where we can to help with what we can (eg provide dark safety glasses, avoid certain noises as much as possible.)
We aim to prevent dental disease rather than treat it at a later date and try to make coming to the dentist a fun experience not a scary one. If any aspect of your dental appearance concerns you, no matter how trivial it may seem, please discuss it with us.
If it is helpful you are welcome to bring along a friend or family to support you. If you would like a particular staff chaperone with you during your dental visit (a dental nurse or trained member from the admin team will often act as a chaperone), please inform our reception or dental team when booking your appointment or checking in.
